  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

ZKSCAN5, a member of the ZKSCAN family of zinc finger transcription factors, has garnered interest in recent years due to its potential roles in various biological processes, including cell differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis. Research has indicated that ZKSCAN5 may play a critical role in some cancers, with its expression levels correlated with tumor progression and patient prognosis. Its ability to regulate specific target genes highlights its importance in cellular pathways. The characterization of ZKSCAN5 recombinant proteins is vital for understanding its functional mechanisms and interactions within cellular contexts. By producing ZKSCAN5 as a recombinant protein, researchers are able to elucidate its structural and functional properties, as well as its involvement in transcriptional regulation. This understanding may pave the way for potential therapeutic applications, particularly in targeting malignancies where ZKSCAN5 expression is dysregulated. Moreover, studying ZKSCAN5 in depth contributes to the broader understanding of zinc finger proteins and their intricate networks of gene regulation, emphasizing the importance of transcription factors in maintaining cellular homeostasis and their implications in disease states.
