Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ZDHHC19, a member of the ZDHHC-containing palmitoyl acyltransferase family, plays a crucial role in post-translational modification processes, specifically in the palmitoylation of proteins. This modification is essential for regulating the stability, localization, and function of various target proteins, impacting numerous cellular processes. Studies have indicated that ZDHHC19 is involved in several important physiological functions, including neuronal signaling, metabolism, and cell membrane dynamics. Dysregulation of ZDHHC19 activity has been linked to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and certain cancers. Given its significance, the recombinant expression of ZDHHC19 has become a critical area of research, facilitating the study of its enzymatic mechanisms and substrate specificity. The production of ZDHHC19 as a recombinant protein allows for detailed biochemical analyses and structure-function studies, crucial for understanding its role in cellular signaling pathways. Moreover, insights gained from ZDHHC19 research could potentially lead to therapeutic interventions, targeting the palmitoylation process to correct dysregulated pathways associated with disease. Hence, the investigation of ZDHHC19 not only enhances our understanding of cellular functions but also paves the way for innovative strategies in disease treatment and prevention.
