Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
STAB2, or Stabilin-2, is a crucial receptor primarily expressed in macrophages that plays a significant role in the regulation of immune responses and homeostasis. Research on STAB2 has garnered attention due to its involvement in various physiological and pathological processes, including the clearance of apoptotic cells, regulation of inflammation, and modulation of tissue repair. The receptor is known for its ability to recognize and internalize glycoproteins and lipoproteins, thereby influencing the turnover of these molecules and contributing to the maintenance of cellular environments. Additionally, STAB2 has been implicated in the progression of diseases, such as atherosclerosis and cancer, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Recent studies have focused on the molecular mechanisms underlying STAB2 function, its signaling pathways, and its interactions with other cellular components, providing valuable insights into its role in immune regulation. Understanding the structure and function of STAB2 as a recombinant protein can advance the development of novel diagnostics and treatments, paving the way for innovative therapies that harness the receptor's biological properties. This research aims to clarify STAB2's function in health and disease, further establishing its relevance in biomedical research.
