稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DEGP12, a member of the DEGP (Degradation of Eco-friendly Glycoproteins) protease family, has garnered significant interest in biochemical research due to its unique structural and functional properties. Found predominantly in microorganisms, especially within the actinobacterial and proteobacterial domains, DEGP12 plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including protein quality control and stress responses. Its ability to degrade misfolded or damaged proteins highlights its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and function. Recent studies have suggested that DEGP12 might also be involved in the regulation of key signaling pathways and in the modulation of metabolic processes under stress conditions, which can have implications for understanding microbial adaptation and survival. The protein's distinct catalytic mechanism, characterized by a multi-domain structure that allows for substrate recognition and proteolytic activity, makes it an attractive target for biotechnological applications, including enzyme engineering and the development of novel therapeutic strategies. Continued research on DEGP12 aims to unravel its precise biochemical roles, regulatory mechanisms, and potential applications in biotechnology and medicine, positioning it as a valuable subject in the field of proteomics and enzymology.
