Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SNF8 is a crucial protein involved in the regulation of various cellular processes, including endocytosis and vesicle trafficking. It is a component of the ESCRT-III (endosomal sorting complex required for transport) complex, which plays a vital role in the sorting of ubiquitinated membrane proteins during the endosomal pathway. The study of SNF8 has gained significant attention due to its implications in maintaining cellular homeostasis and its potential link to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Researchers have focused on understanding the structural and functional characteristics of SNF8, as well as its interactions with other ESCRT components and cellular factors. The recombinant expression of SNF8 in heterologous systems has facilitated the functional analysis of this protein, enabling scientists to investigate its role in the dynamic processes of membrane remodeling and protein sorting. Furthermore, exploring the modulation of SNF8 activity may provide insights into therapeutic strategies for diseases associated with defects in endosomal trafficking. As such, SNF8 serves as a key target for further research in cell biology and biomedical applications, paving the way for a deeper understanding of its contributions to cellular physiology and pathology.
