Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CYP2U1 is a member of the cytochrome P450 family, which plays a crucial role in the metabolism of various substrates, including drugs and endogenous compounds. Research into CYP2U1 has gained interest due to its potential involvement in several physiological processes and its unique substrate specificity compared to other cytochrome P450 enzymes. It has been implicated in the metabolism of bioactive lipids, such as fatty acids and their derivatives, which may influence inflammation and neuronal functions. Understanding CYP2U1's enzymatic activity and regulation is essential for elucidating its biological roles and contribution to human health and disease. Moreover, its distinctive features suggest possible therapeutic applications, making the generation of recombinant CYP2U1 proteins a key step in characterizing its biochemical properties. Studies involving CYP2U1 recombinant proteins provide insights into its enzymatic mechanisms, substrate interactions, and potential implications in pharmacogenomics and individualized medicine. As researchers continue to explore the clinical relevance of CYP2U1, the generation and study of its recombinant forms will be critical for developing targeted therapies and understanding drug-metabolizing pathways that impact health outcomes.
