Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AURKC (Aurora Kinase C) is a member of the Aurora kinase family, which plays a critical role in cell division, particularly during mitosis. This enzyme is essential for the regulation of chromosome alignment, segregation, and cytokinesis, making it a crucial player in the overall process of cell proliferation. Emerging evidence suggests that AURKC is not only involved in normal cellular functions but also has significant implications in various diseases, particularly cancer. Overexpression or aberrant regulation of AURKC has been associated with tumorigenesis, aggressive cancer phenotypes, and poor patient prognosis. Consequently, AURKC has garnered attention as a potential therapeutic target. The study of recombinant AURKC protein allows researchers to elucidate its structural and functional properties, facilitating a deeper understanding of its role in cell cycle regulation. Moreover, producing recombinant AURKC can provide valuable insights into the development of selective inhibitors that could disrupt its activity in cancer cells, presenting a promising avenue for targeted cancer therapies. By reconstituting AURKC in vitro, researchers can explore its biochemical interactions and signaling pathways, paving the way for novel approaches in cancer treatment and ultimately improving outcomes for patients with malignancies characterized by aberrant Aurora kinase signaling. Through these studies, the potential of AURKC as a biomarker for cancer prognosis and a target for therapeutic intervention continues to be investigated, thereby enhancing our understanding of its biological significance and therapeutic potential.
