Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AXIN (Axis inhibition protein) is a critical component in the Wnt signaling pathway, which plays a significant role in developmental processes and cellular homeostasis. The primary function of AXIN is to act as a scaffold protein that facilitates the degradation of β-catenin, a key effector in the Wnt pathway, thus regulating gene expression involved in cell proliferation and differentiation. Aberrant Wnt signaling, often due to mutations in AXIN or other pathway components, is associated with various cancers and developmental disorders, highlighting the importance of understanding AXIN's structure and function. Recent studies have focused on the recombinant production of AXIN protein to elucidate its interactions with other signaling molecules and to characterize its role in complex cellular processes. Advancements in protein engineering techniques have allowed for the generation of high-purity AXIN proteins, which can be utilized in biochemical assays, structural biology studies, and potential therapeutic applications. By leveraging approaches such as CRISPR and high-throughput screening, researchers aim to uncover the nuanced regulatory mechanisms of AXIN in Wnt signaling, paving the way for novel strategies in cancer treatment and regenerative medicine. This research not only enhances our understanding of fundamental biological processes but also opens avenues for developing targeted therapies that can modulate Wnt signaling for better clinical outcomes.
