Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DMBT1, or Deleted in Malignant Brain Tumors 1, is a glycoprotein that plays crucial roles in various biological processes, including tissue development, immune response, and cancer progression. Originally identified as a tumor suppressor in brain tumors, DMBT1 has garnered attention for its potential implications in multiple malignancies and other diseases. Its complex structure, characterized by multiple domains, allows it to interact with a variety of cellular components, influencing cell signaling and adhesion. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of DMBT1 in regulating inflammatory responses and its potential protective role in neurodegenerative diseases. The recombinant expression of DMBT1 protein facilitates in-depth investigations into its biological functions, structural properties, and mechanisms of action. Understanding the role of DMBT1 can provide valuable insights into its therapeutic potential, particularly in the context of cancer treatment and regenerative medicine. Furthermore, the ability to produce recombinant DMBT1 paves the way for the development of diagnostic tools and therapeutic strategies targeting diseases linked to its dysregulation, making it a promising focus for ongoing research in molecular biology and medicine.
