Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CLCA3 (Calcium-activated chloride channel protein 3) is a member of the CLCA family, which plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including ion transport, mucus secretion, and airway hydration. Its expression has been linked to several pathological conditions, particularly in respiratory diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Research focusing on CLCA3 has gained momentum due to its potential as a therapeutic target and its involvement in epithelial cell function. The characterization of CLCA3 as a recombinant protein allows for in-depth studies into its structural properties, interaction with other proteins, and functional mechanisms. By expressing CLCA3 in a suitable host system, researchers can investigate its role in chloride ion transport and its effects on cellular signaling pathways. Understanding the molecular basis of CLCA3 function may lead to novel approaches for mitigating respiratory diseases and improving airway function. Additionally, research on CLCA3 can provide insights into the broader implications of chloride channel regulation in other tissues and contexts, shedding light on its potential role in development and disease. As studies continue to elucidate the functions and mechanisms of CLCA3, the protein represents both a critical research focus in cell biology and a promising candidate for future therapeutic interventions.
