Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CHI3L2, also known as chitinase 3-like 2, is a member of the chitinase family, which plays roles in inflammation, tissue remodeling, and immune responses. Its expression is often elevated in various inflammatory diseases, including asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, and certain cancers, indicating its potential as a biomarker for these conditions. Research has shown that CHI3L2 can influence cell signaling pathways, particularly those related to the innate immune response and tissue repair mechanisms. Given its association with pathological processes, CHI3L2 has gained attention as a therapeutic target and a tool for understanding the underlying mechanisms of disease. Recombinant forms of CHI3L2 enable detailed studies of its functional properties and interactions, paving the way for potential clinical applications in diagnosing and treating inflammatory and degenerative diseases. Further investigation into CHI3L2 may reveal its precise roles and mechanisms, contributing to the development of innovative strategies to modulate its activity and mitigate its effects in various diseases.
