Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SCMH1 (S-phase cyclin A-associated protein) is a protein that plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation and has gained significant attention in research due to its involvement in various cellular processes, including DNA repair, cell proliferation, and apoptosis. It is a member of the SCM (Skp1-Cullin-F-box) family of proteins, which are known to function as ubiquitin ligases that regulate protein degradation and turnover. Previous studies have indicated that SCMH1 can interact with cyclins and other cell cycle-related proteins, highlighting its potential impact on cell cycle progression and its relevance in cancer biology. Dysregulation of SCMH1 expression has been associated with several malignancies, suggesting that it could serve as a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis or prognosis. Moreover, its role in modulating the activity of key signaling pathways further emphasizes the importance of understanding SCMH1's function in cellular contexts. As research into SCMH1 continues to evolve, the exploration of its molecular mechanisms and the development of recombinant SCMH1 protein are crucial for elucidating its biological significance, paving the way for potential therapeutic applications in cancer treatment and other diseases characterized by cell cycle dysregulation.
