Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PAI-1 (Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor-1) is a crucial regulator of the fibrinolytic pathway, playing a significant role in hemostasis, tissue remodeling, and inflammation. Elevated levels of PAI-1 have been associated with an increased risk of various cardiovascular diseases, metabolic disorders, and certain cancers. The study of PAI-1 is vital for understanding its multifaceted roles in physiological and pathological processes. Researchers have been focusing on the recombinant production of PAI-1 to facilitate investigations into its structure-function relationships, mechanisms of action, and interactions with other proteins, such as tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) and urokinase plasminogen activator (uPA). Recombinant PAI-1 enables in-depth studies that can lead to potential therapeutic applications, including the development of PAI-1 inhibitors aimed at treating conditions linked to its dysregulation. Additionally, understanding the post-translational modifications of PAI-1, which significantly influence its stability and activity, is essential for designing effective drugs. Overall, the exploration of recombinant PAI-1 is a promising avenue for elucidating the complexities of fibrinolysis and its impact on human health.
