Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RIMBP3 (Rab3 interacting molecule B3) is a member of the RIM (Rab3-interacting molecule) family, which plays a crucial role in regulating neurotransmitter release at synapses. This protein is primarily expressed in the brain and is believed to be involved in presynaptic mechanisms that facilitate synaptic transmission. Studies have shown that RIMBP3 interacts with various proteins involved in vesicle trafficking and fusion, including Rab3, a small GTPase that regulates exocytosis. Research into RIMBP3 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in neurodevelopment and synaptic plasticity, processes that are fundamental for learning and memory. Abnormalities in RIMBP3 function have been linked to various neuropsychiatric disorders, suggesting its critical role in maintaining synaptic integrity. Characterizing RIMBP3 as a recombinant protein offers insights into its biochemical properties, interaction dynamics, and regulatory functions, paving the way for understanding how alterations in its activity could contribute to neurological diseases. Consequently, the study of RIMBP3 not only enhances our knowledge of synaptic biology but also serves as a potential avenue for therapeutic interventions targeting synaptic dysfunction in neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders.
