Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NLGN3, or Neuroligin 3, is a key protein involved in the formation and maintenance of synapses in the brain, playing a crucial role in neurological development and function. Mutations in the NLGN3 gene have been linked to neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly autism spectrum disorders (ASD), highlighting its significance in synaptic health and communication. The research into NLGN3 recombinant protein focuses on understanding its structure and function, which can illuminate the molecular mechanisms underlying synaptic connectivity and plasticity. By producing NLGN3 in a recombinant form, researchers can conduct detailed studies on its interactions with other synaptic proteins and its role in neuronal signaling. This can further aid in elucidating how aberrations in NLGN3 function contribute to ASDs and related conditions. Additionally, recombinant NLGN3 serves as a valuable tool for screening potential therapeutic compounds aimed at restoring synaptic function in affected individuals. Overall, the investigation of NLGN3 recombinant protein has immense implications for both basic neuroscience and the development of targeted interventions for neurodevelopmental disorders.
