Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SoxA, a crucial protein in various bacterial species, plays a significant role in stress responses and survival under hostile conditions. As a member of the Sox (sulfide oxidation) system, SoxA is involved in the oxidation of sulfide and other sulfur compounds, which is vital for energy production in certain microorganisms. Recent studies have highlighted SoxA's potential in bioremediation processes, where it can facilitate the detoxification of sulfide pollutants in contaminated environments. Additionally, researchers have been investigating the structural and functional characteristics of SoxA to better understand its enzymatic mechanisms and interactions with other components of the Sox system. The recombinant expression of SoxA in model organisms allows for in-depth characterization and offers insights into its biochemical properties, including its catalytic efficiency and substrate specificity. Furthermore, understanding SoxA's interaction with electron donors and acceptors is essential for optimizing its application in biotechnological processes. Overall, the research on SoxA recombinant proteins is paving the way for innovative environmental solutions and enhancing our comprehension of sulfur metabolism in microbial communities.
