Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IFNT1 (Interferon Tau 1) is a type I interferon primarily produced by the conceptus during early pregnancy in ruminants, playing a crucial role in maternal recognition of pregnancy. Its function is pivotal in signaling the maternal system to prevent luteolysis, thereby sustaining progesterone production essential for embryo implantation and development. Research on IFNT1 has gained attention due to its potential applications in reproductive biotechnology, such as improving fertility in livestock and enhancing understanding of placentation mechanisms in mammals. Additionally, IFNT1 is involved in various immunomodulatory processes, making it a valuable subject in the study of immune responses during pregnancy. Recombinant production of IFNT1 enables detailed functional analyses, including its role in signaling pathways and interactions with other cytokines. Investigating IFNT1 at a molecular level facilitates the development of novel reproductive therapies and biotechnological advancements aimed at infertility treatment and effective breeding strategies in agriculture. This growing body of research underscores the significance of IFNT1 not only in reproductive biology but also in broader immunological contexts.
