Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C21orf91, also known as "Chromosome 21 open reading frame 91," is a gene located on chromosome 21 that has garnered interest in biomedical research due to its potential association with various physiological processes and diseases. Recent studies suggest that C21orf91 may play a role in immune response and cellular signaling, influencing pathways related to inflammation and potentially affecting conditions such as autoimmune disorders. Additionally, its expression patterns in different tissues have raised questions about its function in developmental biology, particularly in the context of Down syndrome, which is caused by the triplication of chromosome 21. Given that C21orf91’s exact functional role remains largely unexplored, the development of recombinant protein studies has become crucial. By producing and characterizing the C21orf91 protein in vitro, researchers aim to gain insights into its biochemical properties, interactions with other cellular components, and functional implications in health and disease. Such investigations may illuminate the mechanistic pathways involving C21orf91, contributing to a deeper understanding of its biological significance and potential therapeutic targets in related disorders.
