Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C21orf70, a gene located on chromosome 21, has emerged as a subject of interest in genetic research due to its potential implications in various biological pathways and diseases. Initial studies have suggested that C21orf70 might play a role in cellular processes such as cell proliferation and apoptosis, although its exact function remains largely undefined. The complexity arises from the gene's variable expression patterns across different tissues and developmental stages, hinting at a multifaceted role in human physiology. Moreover, given its location on chromosome 21, mutations or dysregulation of C21orf70 could be linked to conditions associated with Down syndrome and other genetic disorders. This has spurred efforts to produce and characterize recombinant C21orf70 protein for functional studies, aiming to elucidate its biological role and explore its potential connections to disease mechanisms. Understanding the structure and function of C21orf70 at the protein level is crucial for determining its involvement in critical pathways and could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies. Thus, ongoing research focused on the recombinant expression and functional analysis of C21orf70 not only aims to clarify the gene’s specific roles but also to uncover its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in genetic diseases.
