  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Fas-2 recombinant protein, derived from the Fas receptor pathway, has garnered significant attention in biomedical research due to its critical role in regulating apoptosis, or programmed cell death. This pathway is essential for maintaining homeostasis within the immune system and eliminating damaged or cancerous cells. Aberrant regulation of Fas signaling has been implicated in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancers, making Fas-2 an attractive target for therapeutic interventions. Researchers have focused on characterizing Fas-2 recombinant protein to understand its structure-function relationship, potential interactions with other cellular components, and its role in modulating apoptotic signals. Advances in recombinant DNA technology have enabled the production of Fas-2 with enhanced purity and activity, facilitating its use in experimental models. Studies exploring the functional properties and mechanisms of action of Fas-2 aim to uncover novel strategies for cancer therapy, as well as to develop immunomodulatory approaches for treating autoimmune conditions. Through these investigations, Fas-2 may emerge as a promising candidate for targeted therapies, contributing to more effective management of diseases associated with dysfunctional apoptosis.
