Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Caprin2 is a member of the Caprin family of proteins, known for its role in RNA-binding and regulation of cellular processes, particularly in cytoplasmic mRNA metabolism and translation. Research has illuminated its involvement in various physiological processes, including neuronal development and stress responses. The protein is predominantly expressed in the brain, suggesting a crucial role in neural function. Dysregulation of Caprin2 has been linked to several neurological disorders, underscoring its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. The study of recombinant Caprin2 protein aims to elucidate its structural and functional properties, providing insights into its mechanism of action within the cell. By generating and purifying recombinant Caprin2, researchers can explore its binding interactions with RNA and other cellular components, contributing to a deeper understanding of its biological significance in health and disease. Furthermore, this research may pave the way for novel strategies to manipulate its activity, offering avenues for therapeutic intervention in diseases associated with Caprin2 dysfunction. Overall, the investigation of Caprin2 recombinant protein represents a critical step in unraveling the complex roles of RNA-binding proteins in cellular dynamics and their implications for human health.
