Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The research on PDE4B (phosphodiesterase 4B) recombinant protein stems from its critical role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly those involving cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP). PDE4B is part of the phosphodiesterase family, which regulates the degradation of cAMP, a second messenger that is pivotal in various physiological processes, including inflammation, neuronal signaling, and metabolic regulation. Aberrant PDE4B activity has been implicated in several diseases, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and certain neurological disorders, making it a potential therapeutic target. The ability to produce recombinant PDE4B protein enables researchers to study its structure, function, and interactions in detail, facilitating drug discovery efforts aimed at modulating its activity for therapeutic benefits. Understanding the enzymatic mechanisms and regulatory roles of PDE4B can also enhance insights into the broader implications of cAMP signaling in health and disease. Therefore, the generation and characterization of PDE4B recombinant protein are pivotal for advancing both fundamental and applied research in biomedicine, particularly in the fields of pharmacology and disease biology.
