Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
WWP2 (WW domain-containing E3 ubiquitin protein ligase 2) is an important protein that plays a critical role in regulating various cellular processes, including protein degradation, signal transduction, and cell cycle progression, by mediating ubiquitination. Ubiquitination is a post-translational modification that tags proteins for degradation by the proteasome, thus controlling protein levels and activity within the cell. Research on WWP2 has gained prominence due to its implication in several pathophysiological conditions, including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Studies have shown that WWP2 is involved in the regulation of key signaling pathways, such as the TGF-β and PI3K/AKT pathways, which are crucial for cellular growth and survival. Abnormal WWP2 expression or activity has been linked to tumorigenesis, making it a potential target for cancer therapy. Furthermore, the structural and functional characterization of WWP2, particularly through the study of its recombinant forms, can provide insights into its mechanism of action and interaction with substrates. Understanding WWP2's role in cellular processes and its contribution to disease states presents significant opportunities for developing novel therapeutic strategies and enhancing our knowledge of ubiquitin-mediated regulation in health and disease. Research on WWP2's recombinant proteins not only aids in uncovering its biological functions but also has the potential to identify new biomolecular targets for drug discovery in conditions where WWP2 is dysregulated.
