Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAB42 is a member of the RAB family of small GTPases, which are pivotal in regulating intracellular membrane trafficking and organelle dynamics. RAB proteins have gained attention due to their roles in various cellular processes including endocytosis, exocytosis, and the maintenance of organelle identity. Recent studies have implicated RAB42 in neurobiology and cancer, suggesting it may influence neuronal development and function, as well as playing a role in tumorigenesis. The unique expression patterns of RAB42 in different tissues highlight its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target. Recombining RAB42 into a fusion protein can facilitate functional studies and elucidate its interactions with other proteins, thereby aiding in understanding its specific role in complex cellular pathways. Current research focuses on the functional characterization of RAB42, exploring its molecular mechanisms and effects on cellular physiology, as well as the potential implications of its dysregulation in disease. Advances in recombinant protein technology allow for the production of RAB42 in heterologous systems, enabling high-yield generation and purification for detailed structural and functional analyses. By shedding light on RAB42's biological functions, this research can contribute to a deeper understanding of its involvement in health and disease, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting RAB42-related pathways.
