Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAB2 is a member of the RAB family of small GTPases, which play crucial roles in intracellular membrane trafficking and organelle dynamics. It is predominantly involved in the regulation of vesicle transport between the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and the Golgi apparatus, as well as in the subsequent transport to the plasma membrane. Disruptions in RAB2 function have been linked to various diseases, including neurological disorders and metabolic syndromes, making it an important focus for understanding cellular transport mechanisms. Research on recombinant RAB2 protein aims to elucidate its structural and functional properties, facilitating better insights into its role in cellular processes. Furthermore, studying RAB2 can provide valuable information on how traffic flow within cells is regulated and how alterations in this flow may contribute to disease pathology. Techniques such as cryo-electron microscopy and X-ray crystallography are used to analyze the protein's conformation and interactions with other molecules. This research not only advances the understanding of RAB2's biological significance but also opens avenues for potential therapeutic targets by manipulating its activity and interactions in disease contexts.
