Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
WTAP (WT1-associating protein) is a nuclear protein that plays a crucial role in the process of mRNA splicing and regulation, particularly through its interaction with the splicing factor U2AF65. Research into WTAP has gained momentum due to its implications in various biological processes and disease states, including cancer and developmental disorders. As an essential component of the RNA spliceosome, WTAP's involvement in alternative splicing affects gene expression and the production of protein isoforms, which can contribute to tumorigenesis when dysregulated. Furthermore, recent studies have highlighted the importance of WTAP in the regulation of m6A methylation, a dynamic RNA modification that influences mRNA stability, translation, and degradation. Given its multifaceted roles in RNA biology, the characterization and production of WTAP recombinant proteins have become a focal point for understanding its functional mechanisms and potential as a therapeutic target. The development of WTAP recombinant proteins enables detailed biochemical and structural analyses, facilitating the exploration of its interactions with other spliceosomal components and its role in post-transcriptional regulation. This research not only augments our fundamental knowledge of RNA metabolism but also opens avenues for novel interventions in diseases where WTAP is implicated, emphasizing the significance of this protein in both basic and applied biomedical research.
