Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TIMM23 is a key component of the mitochondrial transport machinery, specifically involved in the translocation of proteins across the inner mitochondrial membrane. Understanding its structure and function is crucial, as mitochondrial dysfunction is linked to a variety of diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and metabolic syndromes. The research into TIMM23 recombinant protein has gained significant attention due to its potential implications in therapeutic strategies and the study of mitochondrial dynamics. Recombinant TIMM23 protein offers a unique opportunity to explore its role in mitochondrial protein import mechanisms, allowing researchers to investigate interactions with mitochondrial chaperones and other import components in vitro. Additionally, studying TIMM23 may shed light on the molecular basis of certain pathologies associated with mitochondrial protein transport defects. By utilizing recombinant technologies, scientists aim to elucidate the functional aspects of TIMM23, including its mechanisms of action and regulatory pathways, thereby providing insights that could lead to the development of novel interventions for mitochondrial-related diseases. Overall, TIMM23 research serves as an important frontier in understanding mitochondrial biology and its implications for human health.
