Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-6 receptor (IL6R) is a key component of the interleukin-6 (IL-6) signaling pathway, which plays a crucial role in various physiological and pathological processes, including immune response, inflammation, and hematopoiesis. Dysregulation of IL-6 signaling is implicated in several diseases, such as autoimmune disorders, chronic inflammatory conditions, and certain cancers. The soluble form of IL6R (sIL6R) has garnered significant attention as it acts as a decoy receptor, modulating IL-6 activity and influencing the inflammatory response. Research on recombinant IL6R proteins aims to elucidate the structural and functional properties of IL6R, facilitating the development of therapeutic strategies targeting IL-6 pathways. These recombinant proteins serve as valuable tools in studying the molecular mechanisms underlying IL-6 signaling and its effects on cellular functions. Furthermore, they hold potential for therapeutic applications, including the treatment of diseases characterized by excessive IL-6 signaling. By providing insights into the role of IL6R in health and disease, this research contributes to the understanding of immune regulation and paves the way for novel interventions in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.
