Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SEMA4B, a member of the semaphorin family, plays a significant role in various biological processes, including neuronal guidance, immune response, and tumor progression. Initially discovered for its involvement in the nervous system, SEMA4B is recognized for its function as a signaling molecule that modulates cell-matrix interactions and influences cell behavior. Research has indicated that SEMA4B can act as a repulsive cue for axon guidance and is essential in regulating immune cell interactions, particularly T cell activation and differentiation. Recent studies have highlighted its potential role in cancer biology, where it may contribute to tumor progression and metastasis through its influence on cell migration and invasion. Given the diverse roles SEMA4B plays, understanding its molecular mechanisms and interactions is crucial for developing targeted therapies. The recombinant protein of SEMA4B, generated through genetic engineering techniques, serves as a valuable tool for researchers aiming to elucidate its functions and explore its therapeutic potential. By studying SEMA4B in various contexts, including neural development and cancer, scientists can gain insights into its multifaceted roles, potentially leading to innovative approaches to treat diseases involving dysregulated semaphorin signaling.
