Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LRRN2, or leucine-rich repeat neuronal 2, is a protein primarily expressed in the nervous system and possesses structural features characteristic of the leucine-rich repeat (LRR) protein family, known for their roles in cell-cell interactions and signaling pathways. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of LRRN2 in neurodevelopment and its potential involvement in neurodegenerative diseases, given its expression patterns in various neuronal populations. Understanding the function and mechanisms of LRRN2 is crucial, as it is implicated in processes such as neuronal differentiation, synaptic plasticity, and overall brain function. Research on recombinant LRRN2 proteins aims to elucidate their molecular interactions and functional roles, particularly in synaptic formation and maintenance. Due to its potential involvement in pathological conditions, such as Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, characterizing LRRN2 could offer insights into novel therapeutic strategies. Additionally, the recombinant production of LRRN2 proteins allows for comprehensive biochemical and biophysical analyses, providing a platform for exploring its interactions with other neuronal proteins. Thus, investigating LRRN2 not only contributes to the fundamental understanding of neuronal biology but also paves the way for potential applications in neurobiology and therapeutic development.
