稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
POMGNT1 (Protein O-mannosyltransferase 1) is a glycosyltransferase involved in the post-translational modification of proteins through the addition of mannose residues to specific serine or threonine residues. This modification is crucial for the proper functioning of various glycoproteins, especially in muscle and nervous tissue. Mutations in the POMGNT1 gene have been associated with congenital disorders such as muscle-eye-brain disease (MEB) and protein glycosylation abnormalities. These conditions highlight the importance of POMGNT1 in human health, particularly in the development and maintenance of the nervous system and muscle structure. Research into recombinant POMGNT1 proteins aims to elucidate its functional mechanisms and pathogenic roles, paving the way for potential therapeutic strategies. By producing and studying these recombinant proteins, scientists hope to better understand the enzyme's structure, activity, and substrate specificity, which could lead to insights into the development of targeted treatments for associated disorders. Additionally, recombinant POMGNT1 proteins may serve as valuable tools for studying glycosylation pathways, further revealing the complexities of glycoprotein biology and its implications in various diseases. Overall, investigating POMGNT1 through recombinant protein technologies is essential for advancing our understanding of glycosylation and its impact on human health.
