Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The ELAVL4 gene, a member of the ELAV (embryonic lethal abnormal vision) protein family, encodes a RNA-binding protein primarily expressed in the nervous system. Its role is crucial in post-transcriptional regulation, influencing RNA stability, splicing, and translation, thereby impacting neuronal development and function. Research on ELAVL4 has gained significance due to its involvement in various neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease and schizophrenia, where it may contribute to altered gene expression patterns and impaired neuronal function. The study of ELAVL4 recombinant proteins allows for a detailed understanding of its molecular mechanisms and interactions with RNA and other cellular components. This research can also facilitate the development of therapeutic strategies targeting ELAVL4 pathways for neuroprotective effects and the restoration of normal cellular functions in neurodegenerative diseases. Additionally, the characterization of ELAVL4 recombinant protein aids in the exploration of its potential as a biomarker for specific neurological conditions, highlighting its significance in both basic research and clinical applications.
