  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

C14orf115, also known as Chromosome 14 Open Reading Frame 115, is a relatively uncharacterized protein that has gained attention in recent years due to its potential implications in various biological processes and diseases. Research indicates that C14orf115 may play a role in cellular functions such as cell signaling, proliferation, and apoptosis, although its exact mechanisms remain largely unexplored. There is growing interest in understanding its involvement in pathological conditions, particularly in cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, where dysregulation of similar proteins often leads to tumorigenesis or neuronal deterioration. The generation of recombinant C14orf115 protein is critical for investigating its functional properties, interactions, and potential implications in disease models. By producing this protein in controlled laboratory settings, researchers can conduct detailed biochemical assays and structural studies, enabling the identification of its binding partners and downstream signaling pathways. Additionally, this research could contribute to the development of therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating C14orf115 activity in disease contexts. Understanding the biological significance of C14orf115 and its associated pathways may pave the way for novel insights into its role in health and disease, enhancing our overall knowledge of cellular biology and potentially leading to innovative treatment approaches.
