Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPIL5, or Peptidylprolyl Isomerase Like 5, is a member of the cyclophilin family of proteins known for their role in catalyzing the isomerization of proline residues in polypeptides, which is a critical process affecting protein folding, stability, and function. The interest in PPIL5 has been heightened due to its involvement in several cellular processes, including protein maturation, regulation of cell signaling pathways, and immune responses. Recent studies have suggested that PPIL5 may play a significant role in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, due to its influence on critical signaling pathways such as the NF-κB and AP-1 pathways. Moreover, its expression levels have been correlated with disease progression, making it a potential biomarker for therapeutic interventions. The recombinant production of PPIL5 protein allows researchers to further elucidate its functional mechanisms and interactions with other cellular components. By employing techniques such as chromatography and mass spectrometry, scientists aim to characterize the biochemical properties of PPIL5, investigate its role in cellular dynamics, and explore its potential as a drug target. Hence, understanding PPIL5's structure and function is vital for uncovering novel approaches in therapeutic development, particularly in the context of diseases where misregulation of protein folding and signaling pathways are implicated.
