Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPEF1 (protein phosphatase with EF-hand domain 1) is a member of the protein phosphatase family that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell signaling, proliferation, and differentiation. Emerging evidence suggests that PPEF1 is involved in the regulation of calcium signaling pathways, which are pivotal for muscle contraction, neuronal signaling, and other essential physiological functions. The protein is also implicated in certain pathological conditions, such as cancer and cardiac diseases, where altered expression or activity can affect cellular homeostasis. Research on PPEF1 has gained increasing attention due to its potential as a therapeutic target and as a biomarker for disease progression. The recombinant expression of PPEF1 allows for detailed functional studies, enabling scientists to investigate its enzymatic activity, structural properties, and interactions with other cellular proteins. By producing PPEF1 as a recombinant protein, researchers can explore its role in various signaling pathways and its impact on cellular physiology. Overall, the study of PPEF1 and its recombinant forms is essential for understanding its biological significance and exploring its potential applications in therapeutics and diagnostics.
