Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD83 is a crucial co-stimulatory molecule predominantly expressed on the surface of dendritic cells and activated lymphocytes, playing a vital role in the immune response. As a key player in the maturation and activation of dendritic cells, CD83 facilitates T-cell activation and influences the balance between helper T-cell responses and regulatory T-cell functions. Research into recombinant CD83 protein has gained momentum due to its potential therapeutic applications in immunotherapy, including cancer treatment and autoimmune diseases. Recombinant technologies allow for the production of CD83 in sufficient quantities for studies, enabling researchers to investigate its functional properties and interactions with other immune cells. Additionally, the ability to manipulate CD83 expression offers insights into its role in immune tolerance and the development of immunotherapeutic strategies. With the increasing interest in targeting co-stimulatory pathways to enhance immune responses, recombinant CD83 stands out as a promising candidate for further exploration and development in the field of immunology.
