Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PIP4K2C, or Phosphatidylinositol-5-phosphate 4-kinase type 2 gamma, is a member of the PIP4K family, which plays a crucial role in lipid signaling and cellular processes. The enzyme is involved in the phosphorylation of phosphatidylinositol 5-phosphate (PI5P) to produce phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2), a vital secondary messenger in various signaling pathways. Understanding the function of PIP4K2C is particularly important due to its implications in cellular metabolism, growth regulation, and the potential association with various diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders. Recent studies have shown that PIP4K2C can influence cellular responses to stress and help maintain homeostasis, which highlights its importance in both normal physiology and pathology. Research on recombinant PIP4K2C protein focuses on elucidating its structural and functional properties, interactions with other proteins, and its regulatory mechanisms within the cell. By investigating the recombinant expression and activity of PIP4K2C, scientists aim to unravel its role in signal transduction and its potential as a therapeutic target. The exploration of PIP4K2C has the potential to contribute to the development of novel strategies for treating conditions linked to dysregulated lipid signaling, making it a significant focus in biomedical research.
