Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BAP1, or BRCA1-associated protein 1, is a nuclear deubiquitinase that plays a crucial role in the regulation of various cellular processes, including DNA damage response, cell cycle regulation, and apoptosis. It is encoded by the BAP1 gene located on chromosome 3p21.1 and has emerged as a significant player in tumorigenesis, particularly in cancers such as mesothelioma, melanoma, and other malignancies associated with familial cancer syndromes. BAP1 functions through its ability to remove ubiquitin moieties from target proteins, thereby influencing their stability and activity. Mutations or losses of BAP1 expression have been linked to poor prognosis and increased tumor aggressiveness. Research into BAP1 has gained momentum since its discovery as a tumor suppressor gene, with studies aimed at understanding its molecular mechanisms, regulatory networks, and interactions with other signaling pathways. Furthermore, the identification of BAP1 as a potential biomarker for cancer susceptibility has sparked interest in developing targeted therapies. Current investigations focus on elucidating the functional implications of BAP1 alterations and exploring its potential as a therapeutic target, emphasizing the need for comprehensive studies that connect genetic findings with clinical outcomes in cancer patients. As the field evolves, BAP1 continues to represent a promising area of research, with the potential to significantly impact cancer diagnostics and treatment strategies.
