Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BAIAP2, or Brain Abundant Membrane Protein 2, is a member of the BAI family of proteins, which are known to be involved in various cellular processes, including cell signaling and cytoskeletal dynamics. Research has highlighted its role in the regulation of actin filaments and its potential involvement in endocytosis and synaptic plasticity. Given its significant expression in the brain and other tissues, BAIAP2 has been implicated in several neurological disorders, prompting investigations into its molecular mechanisms. The study of BAIAP2 recombinant protein aims to elucidate its functional properties and interactions with other cellular components. By creating a recombinant version of BAIAP2, researchers can conduct detailed biochemical analyses, assess its structure-function relationships, and explore its role in cellular pathways relevant to neurodevelopment and neurodegeneration. Understanding the biology of BAIAP2 can provide insights into its potential as a therapeutic target for treating neurological conditions, as well as contribute to a broader understanding of membrane-associated proteins in health and disease.
