Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The research on the PER3 recombinant protein is rooted in the growing interest in circadian rhythms and their influence on human health. PER3, or Period Circadian Protein 3, is a vital component of the circadian clock, playing a crucial role in the regulation of sleep-wake cycles and various physiological processes. Alterations in the PER3 gene have been associated with sleep disorders, mood disorders, and other health issues. As the understanding of circadian biology expands, researchers have focused on the functional characterization of PER3, especially its role in cellular signaling and molecular interactions. The production of recombinant PER3 protein has opened avenues for deeper investigation into its biochemical properties, facilitating studies on its interactions with other proteins involved in the circadian system. By utilizing recombinant technology, scientists can produce purified PER3 for in vitro assays, enabling the exploration of its effects on gene expression, post-translational modifications, and potential therapeutic targets. This research not only enhances our understanding of circadian biology but also holds promise for developing interventions for circadian rhythm-related disorders, ultimately contributing to improved sleep health and overall well-being.
