Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PAQR4 (Progestin and AdipoQ Receptor family member 4) is a member of the PAQR receptor family, which is involved in various physiological processes, including metabolic regulation and hormone signaling. The receptor has garnered attention due to its potential roles in obesity, insulin sensitivity, and reproductive functions. Recent research suggests that PAQR4 may mediate the effects of progesterone and adiponectin, hormones crucial for metabolic health and reproductive processes. Studies have indicated that PAQR4 can modulate cellular signaling pathways related to energy homeostasis and inflammation. Given the rising global prevalence of metabolic disorders, understanding the function and mechanisms of PAQR4 could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting obesity and related diseases. Researchers are particularly interested in the structural and functional aspects of recombinant PAQR4 protein, exploring its interaction with ligands and downstream signaling cascades. The production of recombinant PAQR4 enables detailed biochemical studies, including ligand-binding assays and functional assays, which can elucidate its role in the broader context of metabolic regulation and hormonal signaling. Ultimately, this research aims to clarify the potential of PAQR4 as a biomarker or therapeutic target in metabolic and reproductive health, contributing to the development of innovative interventions for conditions such as diabetes and infertility.
