稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCDHa4 (Protocadherin Alpha 4) is a member of the protocadherin gene family, which plays a crucial role in neuronal development and synaptic function. This protein is characterized by its unique structure, featuring multiple extracellular cadherin-like domains that facilitate homophilic interactions between adjacent neurons. Research has shown that PCDHa4 is involved in the establishment of specific neuronal connections, which are vital for proper brain function. Dysregulation or mutations in PCDHa4 have been implicated in various neurological disorders, including autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia. Consequently, understanding the molecular mechanisms by which PCDHa4 contributes to neuronal networking is essential for developing potential therapeutic strategies for these conditions. Recombinant PCDHa4 protein serves as a valuable tool for studying its biological functions and interactions in vitro, allowing researchers to dissect the role of this protein in cell adhesion, signaling pathways, and overall neuronal health. Investigating PCDHa4 through recombinant protein techniques can also aid in the identification of potential binding partners and elucidate the pathways influenced by this protocadherin, advancing our comprehension of its contributions to synaptic plasticity and neural circuit formation.
