  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

WWC2, a member of the WW domain-containing protein family, has garnered significant attention in the field of biomedical research due to its involvement in critical biological processes, including cell signaling, proliferation, and differentiation. Originally identified for its role as an adaptor protein, WWC2 interacts with various signaling molecules, particularly in the Hippo pathway, which regulates organ size and tissue homeostasis. Dysregulation of this pathway is implicated in several diseases, including cancer and developmental disorders. Recent studies have highlighted the need to understand the molecular mechanisms by which WWC2 exerts its effects, particularly its role in cytoskeletal organization and cellular mechanics. Given its potential as a therapeutic target, researchers are investigating the structural and functional aspects of WWC2, aiming to uncover its interactions and regulatory networks within the cell. This research not only contributes to our understanding of fundamental cellular processes but also opens new avenues for developing targeted therapies that could mitigate the pathological consequences of WWC2 dysregulation in various diseases.
