Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PAFAH1B1, also known as platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase 1b catalytic subunit 1, is a gene that encodes a protein involved in the hydrolysis of platelet-activating factor (PAF), a lipid mediator that plays a crucial role in inflammatory responses and a variety of biological processes. Mutations in the PAFAH1B1 gene have been linked to several developmental disorders, particularly Miller-Dieker syndrome, which is characterized by lissencephaly and developmental delays. The study of PAFAH1B1 and its recombinant protein has gained importance in understanding its functional mechanisms and role in disease pathogenesis. Researchers have sought to produce recombinant PAFAH1B1 to investigate its biochemical properties, interactions with other proteins, and influence on cellular signaling pathways. This research can provide insights into the therapeutic potential of targeting this protein in conditions associated with dysregulated inflammatory responses and neurodevelopmental disorders. The increasing prevalence of such conditions emphasizes the need for further exploration of PAFAH1B1, highlighting its significance in both molecular biology and clinical applications. Understanding the structure-function relationship of the recombinant protein can pave the way for developing novel intervention strategies aimed at mitigating the effects of associated genetic disorders. In summary, the investigation into PAFAH1B1 recombinant protein is a critical area of research that bridges the gap between basic science and clinical relevance, ultimately aiming to enhance our comprehension of the underlying mechanisms of both normal physiology and pathological conditions.
