Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PAAF1, or P53-Associated Protein 1, is a multifunctional protein that plays a significant role in various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, apoptosis, and DNA damage response. Research has indicated that PAAF1 can interact with the tumor suppressor protein p53, a crucial player in maintaining genomic stability and preventing tumorigenesis. The dysregulation of p53 and its associated pathways is often implicated in cancer development. Therefore, understanding the biochemical properties and functional mechanisms of PAAF1 is vital for elucidating its role in cellular homeostasis and pathology. Recent studies have focused on recombinant expression of PAAF1 to facilitate in-depth analyses of its structure and interactions with other cellular components. The production of PAAF1 as a recombinant protein allows researchers to investigate its functional domains, post-translational modifications, and its interaction with p53 and other partners, providing insights into its contribution to tumor biology. Given the potential of PAAF1 as a therapeutic target, ongoing research aims to explore its role in cancer progression and treatment resistance, making it a key focus in the context of cancer biology and novel therapeutic strategies.
