Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LPHN1, or Latrophilin 1, is a member of the adhesion G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) family, known for its role in cell adhesion and signal transduction. It has garnered significant interest in neuroscience due to its involvement in the development and function of synapses, particularly in the context of neuronal signaling. Research has shown that LPHN1 interacts with various synaptic proteins, implicating it in the regulation of synaptic plasticity and neurotransmitter release, processes vital for learning and memory. Mutations or dysregulation of LPHN1 have been associated with neurodevelopmental disorders, highlighting its importance in maintaining proper neurological function. The creation and study of recombinant LPHN1 protein facilitate a deeper understanding of its structure, function, and interactions at the molecular level. By utilizing recombinant techniques, researchers can produce purified LPHN1 to explore its binding properties, functional assays, and potential as a therapeutic target. This research not only contributes to foundational knowledge in cellular and molecular neuroscience but also opens avenues for developing innovative strategies to address synaptic dysfunction in various neurological diseases.
