稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The OR11H4 protein is part of the olfactory receptor (OR) family, which plays a critical role in the sensory perception of smell in mammals. Olfactory receptors are G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) found in the olfactory epithelium, where they detect odorant molecules and initiate a signaling cascade that leads to the perception of scents. The OR11H4 receptor, like other ORs, is thought to contribute to the complexity of olfactory signaling and has been implicated in the recognition of specific odorants, influencing behaviors related to food, reproduction, and environmental awareness. Despite the importance of ORs in olfactory systems, many remain uncharacterized, and the functional properties of OR11H4 are not well understood. Research surrounding the recombinant expression of OR11H4 has gained interest due to its potential for drug discovery, as these receptors can be targeted for therapeutic interventions in conditions linked to olfactory dysfunction. By studying the recombinant OR11H4 protein, scientists aim to elucidate its ligand binding properties, signaling mechanisms, and biological role in the context of olfaction. Additionally, understanding the structure and function of OR11H4 could shed light on the evolutionary aspects of olfactory receptor diversity and provide insights into the broader olfactory system's functionality. Overall, advancing knowledge of OR11H4 through recombinant protein studies could pave the way for novel applications in sensory biology and medicine.
