Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of CTL4 (Cytotoxic T Lymphocyte Antigen 4) recombinant protein is situated at the intersection of immunology and therapeutic development, particularly in the context of cancer and autoimmune diseases. CTL4 is a critical immune checkpoint protein that plays a significant role in regulating T cell responses. Its primary function involves downregulating the immune system, preventing overactivation of T cells that could lead to tissue damage. Researchers have increasingly focused on CTL4 due to its pivotal role in tumor immune evasion, making it a key target for cancer immunotherapy. The introduction of CTL4 inhibitors, such as monoclonal antibodies like ipilimumab, has revolutionized treatment options for patients with melanoma and other cancers. Furthermore, investigating CTL4 recombinant proteins facilitates a deeper understanding of its structural and functional properties, enabling the development of novel therapeutic approaches. These recombinant proteins can be utilized to create more effective vaccines, enhance T cell activation, and improve anti-tumor responses. Additionally, studying CTL4 interactions with its ligands provides insights into mechanisms of immune regulation, paving the way for potential interventions in autoimmune disorders where CTL4-mediated suppression is dysregulated. Overall, the research on CTL4 recombinant proteins not only advances our fundamental understanding of immune checkpoints but also holds promise for developing innovative therapies that can harness or modulate immune responses for better clinical outcomes.
