Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CHSY1 (chondroitin sulfate synthase 1) is an essential enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of chondroitin sulfate, a significant component of the extracellular matrix that plays crucial roles in cell signaling, tissue hydration, and the structural integrity of cartilage. The study of CHSY1 recombinant proteins has garnered attention due to their potential implications in both basic and applied biomedical research. Understanding the function and regulation of CHSY1 is vital, as alterations in chondroitin sulfate production can be linked to various pathological conditions, including osteoarthritis, cancer, and developmental disorders. By expressing and purifying CHSY1 in a recombinant system, researchers can investigate its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and interaction with other proteins, which could shed light on its role in disease mechanisms. Furthermore, recombinant CHSY1 proteins provide a platform for the development of therapeutic agents that target aberrant chondroitin sulfate biosynthesis. This research not only enhances our understanding of glycosaminoglycan metabolism but also opens avenues for innovative strategies in regenerative medicine and targeted therapies.
