Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IPO13, or Importin 13, is a member of the importin-beta family of proteins that plays a crucial role in the nuclear transport of various cargo proteins, particularly those containing nuclear localization signals (NLS). The significance of IPO13 in cellular processes has attracted considerable attention in the field of molecular biology and biochemistry. Initial studies have demonstrated its involvement in the transport of growth factors, transcription factors, and proteins associated with cell division and differentiation. Abnormalities in IPO13 expression have been linked to various diseases, including cancer, where altered nuclear transport mechanisms can contribute to tumor progression and metastasis. Furthermore, IPO13 has been implicated in the regulation of cellular signaling pathways, underscoring its potential role in development and disease. Characterizing the structure and function of IPO13 and its complexes with cargo proteins provides insights into the mechanisms of nuclear transport. Understanding these processes is fundamental to developing therapeutic strategies for diseases related to misregulated nuclear transport. As researchers continue to explore IPO13’s role in different biological contexts, the potential for this protein as a target for drug development and as a biomarker for certain diseases expands, highlighting the importance of continued investigations into its structure, function, and regulatory mechanisms.
